ProSorb® is a form of silica gel, whose performance is far superior to the traditional silica gel known. Product studied especially for the conservation of the works, it acts like regulator for the control of the relative humidity, in the showcases, drawers, cabinet of reserve. It equilibrates with the relative humidity of the ambient air, then absorbs or restores the water in case of humidity variations. Given its moisture absorption capacity (1.5 L for 1kg of ProSorb) provide 2 cassettes of 500 g per 1m3 of air to be treated. When ordering, indicate the desired residual moisture content: 35, 40, 45, 50, 55 or 60%. ProSorb® can be regenerated at a temperature between 120 and 130 ° C.
